Steps
Soak feet in hot water (not too hot!) with epsom salts which soften feet.
Use a pumice stone to rub off rough spots to make feet nice and soft.
Use a cuticle trimmer to cut off dead skin around toe nails. Be careful not to cut too deep; you're just cutting off the dead skin!
Rise feet and apply a rich lotion to feet and give it a few minutes to soak in.
Use a cotton ball with nail polish remover to remove lotion and/or nail polish from toenails.
Warnings
Do not use cheap nail conditioners ,these can cause serious irritations and allergies
Use a white nail polish and paint the tips of each toe nail. Let dry and apply a second coat so that the white doesn't look splotchy. Don't worry if it looks messy, youll fix it in the next step!
Take a make-up concealer brush and dip it in preferably 100% acetone. Remove excess acetone on a paper towel.
Use the brush, and remove excess white nail polish until you create a thin, straight line. You will have to take it slow and be carefull not to make it crooked but eventually youll be a pro!
Tips
Practice makes perfect!
You can also buy white nail polish pens which are easier to work with.
How to Condition Your Nails
Here are some useful tips for conditioning your beautiful nails.
Brittle and splitting nails are usually caused by excessive dryness, which increases with aging and is exacerbated by exposure to detergents and chemicals. Soaking the fingers in water and then applying a moisturizing hand cream or a conditioner formulated for nails can restore lost moisture and also prevent moisture loss.
Application of nail hardeners may also help seal in moisture and provide hard surface over the nails.Dermatologists usually recommend protein hardeners or products that contain nylon rather than that ones made with formaldehyde, which causes reactions in certain people.
Contrary to some promotional claims, however protein and other substances applied to the surfaces do not sink into or "feed" the nails.

How to Get Rid of Those White Spots on Your Nails
Medically speaking, those little white marks that sometimes appear as dots or lines on the fingernail are known as leukonychia. There are several possible causes for the discoloration, but the most common are mild trauma, a fungal infection, banging your nail plate, skin conditions, or nutritional deficiencies.
Steps
The solution is to simply allow them to grow out. Unfortunately, there is no "cure" and they will simply, with time, grow right out over the smile line (the seperation between the bed and the actual growth) of your nail and then you can file, cut or clip them off.
Did you know that they are sometimes little bruises that your nail has experienced? So , like if you had bruise on leg, leave it, it'll go eventually!
Also, dairy is a good source of protein and calcium that'll help your nails get stronger and prevent more bruises! SO .... DRINK MILK! EAT CHEESE etc.
They appear when you haven't eaten enough fruit
If you're really desperate, paint over them to hide it.
Tips
Eat a balanced diet, and try to keep your nails from dirt and situations that could lead to damage, which can lead directly to white spots. Avoid activities such as washing dishes, gardening, lifting heavy items, closing stubborn slider doors, etc. Whenever you think your nails are in danger, avoid the situation!
The white half moons near your cuticles are perfectly normal. If you don't like these, then paint your nails.
You can also use a neutral colored polish to cover white spots, if you so desire.
Be very patient with the "growing out" thing. Just remember that they'll grow out. If you aren't the "patient type" of person and you are uncomfortable about those white spots, paint your nails. You'll feel better.
